The past week has been pretty great, I’m not gonna lie. Last Friday was the first official day of Comic Con. I’d already been in the day before, since my good buddy Josh Max over at Nintendo World Report scored me a press pass.
I saw some pretty great stuff, most of which I couldn’t afford. But even on my limited budget, I scored a lot of neat trinkets. I got a few Doctor Who posters, stickers and pictures (mental and otherwise) of the dozens of people dressed as the 11th Doctor with a smattering of Amy Ponds, 10th Doctors, a couple Weeping Angels and two 4th Doctors. And of course this awesome Rebel pilot on the left.
We also made it in to see the Venture Brothers panel. Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick bantering about the show and more? Yes, please. Doc Hammer was especially talkative last week, telling the audience all about his crazy person apartment with his barely functional bathroom, stack of coffee cups 50 cups high and his emptied out filing cabinet due to cockroach infestation. He also read out the list of things he never wants to hear again, mostly pulled from all the reality tv he watches, such as “get my [blank] on”, “ridonkulous” and he added “meh” while we sat there. Personally, I was laughing so hard I nearly cried.
